Counting down to...

Firstly, I would like to thank all those who wished me Happy Chinese New Year. Thank you for your wishes, hope you all had a great time too.

My last paper, Company Law is just a few days away, will be taking it on February 4. Then it's time to plan for my holidays and enjoy myself to the maximum before going back to do Advanced Diploma. Let's hope that there's no complications in my results. Anyway, failure is not final, failure is not fatal. My Advanced Diploma starts in May so I can still sit for April/May examinations if I fail any paper (touch wood!) but there will be further costs involved.

Wang Leehom released a new video - No reason to pay attention to you (available on his latest album, Heart Beat)

Going back to study Company Law,

10 things we're still buying

Even when consumer spending has drop and the economy is getting worse. Read this article on Forbes website.

  1. Smart phones. Well I'm thinking of getting a smart phone myself, although an ideal one would be an iphone but I can't get it legally in Malaysia so maybe I'll get a Nokia N series when I've saved up enough money. Chinese New Year is in a few days time.
  2. Video games and consoles. If I were a boy, I would definitely buy more video games to pass the time. Guitar Hero seems fine to me. I do play Dance Dance Revolution though.T
  3. Toy building sets. For example Lego. Don't you think I'm too old for it? and I don't have kids.
  4. Car maintenance. I don't drive but I think everyone who drives need to spend money to maintain their cars. Anyway, for those who'll be traveling back to their hometowns, please service your cars before leaving.
  5. Restaurants. Ahh...I need to eat and I eat out most of the time.
  6. Movie tickets. Well, I need to watch movies and the sound system in the cinema is better than the one at home.
  7. Netbooks. My dream is to get a Macbook one day.
  8. Dress casual shoes. I just bought a new pair of shoes last month I think. It's a pair of Reebok sports shoes (this might not be related). I'm thinking of buying some new shoes maybe during sales in May.
  9. Personal care. People need to use personal care to survive even during tough times. You know, they still need to keep themselves clean and to look presentable. I just bought a pack of Simple facial wipes so it's more convenient to cleanse my face when I'm traveling and also a Nivea lip balm for my cracked lips.
  10. Gym memberships. Personally, I don't like working out in gyms and a gym membership is expensive. However, I run on the treadmill at home.
Have a wealthy and healthy new year everyone! Gong Xi Fa Cai!

EVERYTHING MV

Taking a break from studying for exams. Had my first paper today, Tamadun. Well, it was pretty easy. The subject is easy. Just have to memorize, don't need to understand. One of my friends, an expert on history said that some of the facts in the textbook is wrong. So after today, I won't really remember much of what I studied from this subject except for Moisme (something like Confucianisme) said that "muzik akan melalaikan seseorang", because I totally disagree with it.

Speaking of music, just watched the MV for Everything (from Heart Beat). So far, Heart Beat is my favorite Lee Hom album and I can't wait for his concert in Malaysia. Really want to go, have even been saving money so that I can pay for a better seat.

To all my classmates and coursemates,
All the best in your final semester exams!!

Heart Beat - Lee Hom

This album opens with a fun and playful "Dirty Love" and follows through with hit single "Hearbeat". I feel like dancing and singing along to "The Sun After Washed by Spring Rain". It's my favorite song in this album. I find his ballad "Everything" impressive. There's also a duet Jane Zhang in "Another Heaven". "What's Wrong with Rock" has a combination of rock with the pipa (a Chinese instrument). The music video for this song features Janet Hsieh on the pipa. Watch a video of the (Music)man himself talking about this album.

Heart Beat is in stores,

Lee Hom's new video

Check out Wang Leehom's new music video. The album, Heart Beat will be in stores today (Malaysia). Other coutries probably got it on Boxing Day last year, December 26, 2008. I haven't got the album yet. Will be collecting it after class this Wednesday. Can't wait to listen to it. His guitar in this video is so cute. And this song, just take my exam stress away.
