I voted for Jackie Miao, a Malaysian as the Wild Card applicant for the Best Job in the World. Since I'm Malaysian, it would be good to support another Malaysian.
You can vote for her too at www.islandreefjob.com and click on Short-list. What are you waiting for? Voting closes at 11.59PM UTC March 24.

Singapore!
Returned from Singapore yesterday. I totally love Singapore.
I went to a few places there like Chinatown, Vivocity, Orchard Road, St. Andrew Cathedral, National Library and other libraries in Singapore. Didn't visit the places I went before the last time I was there. I spent most of my time at shopping malls. There are some sales going on there. Some of the malls are older than me, some I don't even know the name of the mall. Bought only a few stuff. Others are cheaper to buy in Malaysia and can be found in Malaysia. Besides, I don't have much money with me. The only think I bought that cost over S$10 is a Bonia purse (which might be found in Malaysia but I wanted to used up the S$50 gift voucher my uncle gave me) which meets what I want in a purse. I can be choosy when shopping. Other than that, my favourite purchase is Lee Hom's Hear My Voice album. It's his Japanese album and I couldn't find it in Malaysia and other music shops I went to in Singapore. Imagine my delight when I found it in HMV, Citylink. I got it at my last day there. Maybe you'll find find what you're looking for when you least expect it because I was already about to give up finding that album.
Still haven't found X Japan album. Even if I did, probably won't buy it yet because I don't have enough money.
Things I like about Singapore: there are plenty of shopping malls around, good public transport system, clean, safe, lots of public libraries around which is good for people like me who like to read.
I would definitely visit Singapore again in the future. I still have some unfinished business (looking for X Japan albums).

Enjoyed myself in Singapore,
Vicky

Slow internet connection
Was chatting with my friend on Gtalk when I started complaining about the internet connection here in Malaysia. So he asked me to test it on Speedtest.net.
Anyway, I'm not surprised with the result. I kind of expected it. The result is 489 kb/s for download. My friend did the same test and he got 12500kb/s. By the way, my friend is based in America. View my result here.
Was going through Enya's chatbox. We're (Enya, Yein and I) are still talking about X Japan. I didn't know they listen to X Japan too. I thought it's just Adrian, Andrew and me. Hehe...can't wait to exchange X Japan songs with them. My favorite at the moment is Tears. Will check out their album when I go to Singapore. Heard that they are more popular there, hopefully I can find some of their albums there.

Another Heaven
Beautiful song, a duet by Wang Leehom and Jane Zhang. It's on Leehom's latest album, Heart. Beat.
Finally, understood Jane Zhang's "dolphin voice" people were talking about. Check it out in this video. It's like Mariah Carey.
I dedicate this song to all who will be celebrating Valentine's day!

Back from Genting Highlands
Just came back from Genting Highlands few hours ago. Spent less than RM150 while I was there. Totally unexpected considering that the cost of things that can hurt your wallet, not a recession-friendly place.
I went with my classmates, it was a graduation trip. Most of the rides are fun, gave an adrenaline rush except one ride that I regretted. It was so darn slow. I don't know what is that ride called, but it's somewhere near the entrance.
Found out that I'm allergic to the fake snow in Snow World. I only got rashes on my face. But only realized it when I got back to my room to bathe. Had fun playing there, throwing snow balls at each other.
Didn't sleep much, spent the night playing card games. When everyone went to sleep at around 3 or 4 a.m., I didn't really sleep that well because it was too cold. The blanket wasn't thick enough.
Really tired now, got to go get some rest.
